Birthday roses from my sweetie with accents of Snow-on-the-Mountain from Anna. The "snow" grows in fields around here and I love it. Can you see the ducks on the other side of our iron fence?
* Birthday celebrations with my family. Sara turned 19 and I turned....uh....45. How can that be?
* The boys went camping were guns and shooting were on the agenda. They had GREAT fun.

* Trey is a patrol leader for the first time ever and his patrol won first place at this camp out in a very close race. We are really proud of him as this is a difficult job and one that requires lots of organization.

Oh the joy!
* Watching Squirt take a swim in a Rubbermaid tub. Oh, how he relished it.
* An outing with a friend! We got pampered at a Mary Kay party, enjoyed lunch and went to see The Help. It was a fun day and one that included smoother skin!
* This morning we let Squirt go after a quick photo session and one last snuggle. While he loved being with Anna he was not totally tamed, which I think is a Good Thing. He immediately swam to his mother and happily splashed in the pond. Anna has already been out once to check on him.
* Joining BSF a few weeks ago. I have wanted to do this for awhile now, but the timing was never right. This year the opportunity is a good fit for my schedule. We are studying the Acts of the Apostles and I am so enjoying it!

What a thrill to having the cake fall smoothly out of the bundt pan! Such a beautiful sight I had to photograph it.
* The lemon! Sara requested a lemon cake for her birthday dessert. While the cake was still warm I drizzled it with a lemon syrup that soaked up into the spongy cake. Oh what lemony goodness! The glaze topping was yummy, too. We ate it too quickly to get a picture of the finished cake.
* Dinner date with my husband AND my most fabulous birthday gift! I told Mike I felt like Squirt when he was taking his Rubbermaid bath! Splish splash. Our old shower head is the 2nd thing I miss most about our old house. (The big trees would be the first thing I miss most, especially the one out front that provided shade for my car and flower bed.)

Happy birthday! I hope you're not too sad to see Squirt go--I guess he's staying in the neighborhood, though, isn't he? Keep us updated!

Happy Birthday!! It sounds like you had a wonderful weekend. Mmmm, lemon bundt cake. I'd give my eye tooth for some of that right now. I love lemon. So fun that you were able to watch Squirt grow and will now get to see him continue to grow in the pond.
Hope you are having a good week!
Blessings!

and LOVE that showerhead, understanding FULLY how you could totally miss your other one! [Remembering how we love our pillows, I also relate to shower heads! haha] -- do tell about this one, please -every detail of course, make/model/why you like this one, etc. Inquiring minds have to know.
Love to the Boling household!
And 'bye bye' to that cute Squirt.

Birthday Blessings! And you are still young, young, young!
I loved reading about the blissful moments in your day. And BSF is one of the best Bible Studies out there in my opinion. (Sadly, I am not able to attend this year.)
Happy Birthday. I celebrated my 45th many, many seasons ago...it's all good!
Lovely simple things Leslie! And it really is all about those moments, isn't it? And LOVE the E. Goudge quote, and I do believe the answer is 'yes!', don't you?
Hugs,
G
