New Floors

Squirt, back in the good old days when he was a tiny thing.  You know, three weeks ago.

In hopes of chronicling some of the things we do to our new-to-us home and because I don't think I posted this super cute picture of Squirt I wanted to post this picture. 

If you don't count our homemade television antennae, our first real home improvement project has been to install new floors through out the ground floor, minus kitchen and bathrooms.  The floors go up the stairs and stop at a small landing at the top. 

I think Squirt makes a good model, don't you?

We finally got a good soaking rain yesterday and it has been a busier than usual week for us.  I am thankful for the long weekend even though I don't plan to have much to show for it except a more rested me and perhaps a little bit cleaner house.
